Maple MBSE

Maple MBSE lets you take advantage of a Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) approach to requirements management and validation, without requiring every engineer on the project to be an expert in complex MBSE tools. With more people feeding into the process, you can create, maintain, and validate your requirements and systems models more efficiently and with fewer errors, allowing you to close the gap between systems engineering and model-based design.

In the world of Model Based Systems Engineering, specialized tools help define high-level system requirements that are used throughout the design chain. Most engineers don’t have the training needed to use these complex tools, but their input into system requirements remains vital. With customization by the Maplesoft Engineering Solutions team to meet your specific needs, MapleMBSE makes collaboration on requirements accessible to all stakeholders, providing streamlined interfaces for each task in your MBSE project. By giving more engineers an easy connection to MBSE tools, you can work faster, reduce errors, and ensure a system-wide collaboration on your next project.

  • Intuitive, Excel®-based interface for easily entering system definitions without having to go through your MBSE tool
  • Automatic population of information into your MBSE tool, translating the engineer’s inputs into system structures, behaviors, requirements, and constraints
  • Integration with standard SysML-based MBSE platforms such as IBM® Rational® Rhapsody® or No Magic™ MagicDraw®
  • Rapid impact analysis of design changes to test for conflicting requirements, all from within the intuitive MapleMBSE environment
  • Optimized tool views for common MBSE tasks
    • Requirements
    • Failure mode and effects analysis
    • Trade-off studies
    • Structure analysis
  • Designed to reduce many common errors that occur when using MBSE tools directly
  • Customized implementations provided by Maplesoft Engineering Solutions experts to ensure that MapleMBSE is tailored to your exact MBSE process

Why Choose Maple MBSE for your Next Project?

Here are just some of the ways that MapleMBSE streamlines the management of project requirements.

Easily Maintain Requirements

Keep requirements up to date by giving all of your engineers an Excel-based interface to your MBSE project definition, so you always get accurate results when testing for design impacts and requirement conflicts.

Eliminate Errors

Use natural language and numerical inputs to reduce errors associated with the complex entry mechanisms of MBSE tools.

Ramp Up, Right Away

Reduce ramp-up time by using the Microsoft Excel interface familiar to all engineers, giving you easy access to important project definitions stored in your MBSE tool.

Flexible Integration

Give engineers a practical tool that also satisfies management’s need for a PLM-integrated solution.

What’s New in Maple 2017!

Canadian company Maplesoft, Inc. launched a new release of mathematical software Maple 2017.

What’s New in Maple 2017

Maple 2017 has something for everyone. Here are just some of the new things you can do with Maple 2017:

Extend Maple’s power with user-created packages
The MapleCloud now gives you instant, seamless access to a rich collection of user packages that extends Maple’s abilities, and even notifies you when updates are available.

Construct even complicated plots easily
The Plot Builder in Maple 2017 has a new design that makes it even easier to create and customize a wide variety of plots, simply and without knowing a single plot command.

Solve more problems
With Maple 2017, you can find exact solutions to more PDEs with boundary conditions, find new limits, solve more integrals, perform new graph theory computations, calculate more group properties, work with new hypergeometric functions, and much more.

Protect your work
Now you can password protect worksheets while still allowing access to the procedures they contain, so you can share your work without sharing your IP.

Expand your worldview
New map visualization tools and a geographical database let you explore and understand world data in a highly visual way.

State your assumptions
You can give Maple even more information about your problem, and Maple will take these assumptions into account in even more computations, eliminating solutions you don’t need and simplifying results appropriately.

Add a new layer of information to your plots
In Maple 2017, you can add dynamic plot annotations that will appear when you hover over specific points or curves, so you can convey even more information in your graphs.

Get a head start on engineering problem solving
The Maple Portal for Engineers, which provides a starting point for common engineering tasks, now covers many more topics, includes more examples, and provides sample applications to help you become productive quickly.

Develop your own algorithms and solutions
From performance improvements in core functions, to a more flexible debugger, to new tools that simplify package creation and distribution, Maple 2017 gives you everything you need to develop even complex algorithms and solutions on your own.

Get insight into your data
Enhanced support for statistics and data analysis includes new and improved visualizations, new data analysis tools, and expanded support for data frames throughout Maple, so you can work with and learn from your data.

Support Maple 18 and lower versions ends

Dear Maple Users,

Maplesoft, Inc. has decided to support only the last three versions of Maple. License support for previous versions of Maple ends three months since the launch of Maple 2017 on 25 August 2017. The new License Manager (LM) does not support Maple 18 and the lower version of Maple. In the case of Maple 2017 installation, you must install LM on another machine or virtual server. This will prevent Maple 18 and lower versions from being malfunctioned.
